i know you said you wanted to see me write more but every tume i think i have a topic lately we end up discussing it verbally before i got a chance to write it....
i woner how you feel about journal prompts...i found a site for them. Here are some i liked, maybe you can think of others.
“A slave’s life is mostly composed of patience and study. Yes, study. If not with actual books, then following the example of greater, senior slaves. Or learning every nuance of their owner’s character, so that they can more completely and seamlessly offer themselves at the right time and in the right manner.” – Laura Antoniou
“Our life evokes our character. You find out more about yourself as you go on. That’s why it’s good to be able to put yourself in situations that will evoke your higher nature rather than your lower.” -Joseph Campbell
Do you find that your spirituality expresses itself in your service?
"We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment.”- Jim Rohn
Are you a stay-at-home submissive? How did you adapt to your new routine? If you aren’t stay-at-home, is this a dream of yours? Why or why not?
How would you train someone else to serve your owner, if you were ever placed in the position to do so?
If you found out that someone had lied to you about something significant from the beginning, would you want to rebuild the relationship or walk away? What is your personal ‘line of tolerance on honesty’?
How do you choose to react to anger, jealousy, frustration? Do you believe you can choose your behaviors, or that overwhelming emotions control your actions?
What is your definition of a service submissive? Is this something you strive for or attain or is it a natural part of your being?
Are you micromanaged? Do you find you flourish best in a micromanaged environment? Why or why not?
If the government brought back real and legal slavery, would you sign yourself over to your Owner as his/her slave?
Has surrender given you ‘new eyes’ to view your world?
Do you consider yourself proactive, reactive, or a blend of the two?
“I am not influenced by the expectation of promotion or pecuniary reward. I wish to be useful….” -Nathan Hale
today i really like this one:
"We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment.”- Jim Rohn
that kind of goes along with my motto: "to have an extraordinary life requires extraordinary effort"" and my other motto "don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now" although that second one should maybe not get "motto" status as it is not original and actually came from the pro-anorexia community :(
anyway it has to do with being willing to make sacrifices of investment rather than sacrifices of neccessity. Everybody can make sacrifices in times of scarcity, when they have to. One of the tricks to success in the lifestyle and in life in general is being able to make sacrifices of comfort, convenience, leisure, etc. without circumstances forcing you to.
“Submissives need to be told what to do. Slaves need to do what they are told.” – Unknown
Does this parallel your paralysis in the face of anyone's displeasure? As in, you don't need to be told what to do- you have plenty of your own ideas- but you are not capable of acting on those ideas unless they are exactly what the authority wants...does this mean feeling resentment at having plans thwarted by authority's preference is not failure, in that the inability to just do it anyway represents success?
Like Boys Camp- felt unable to go when told "do what you want" although technically could have gone without disobedience- it was only when (however grudging) acknowledement that going was the right thing for me that I was able to proceed with plans.
